If you're reading this, you've likely clicked on the QR code from the flyer at the Digital Media Ministry booth!! Awesome, and thank you.
There's a relatively good chance that you're already a parishioner at St. Joseph's; and that you've seen me (Terri) bouncing around with multiple cameras recording stills and video coverage over the years "for the website." Part of the reason for the QR code is I will be stepping away from the booth a few times today to do just that!!!
Now the phrase “for the website” has become a catch all phrase—it doesn’t always mean directly for the website anymore, it now includes the social media as well. It used to be occasionally a social media post with a preview or two, and a photo album directly on the website. Due to site size constraints and the fact that most parishioners engage with the social media (Facebook/Instagram), the photos usually go there first. By the way, we do have extra photo coverage on our Flickr account.
After eight years, I would like to do more with the site than copying information from the bulletin and plopping some photos on here though. These are some of the projects I’m working on or things I would like to implement:
Behind the scenes. In front of the camera. Anyone one willing to bring ideas to the website, this is the group for you.
