We human beings are created with the capacity to BE in God. That's why sin, by separating us from God, left us trapped in this mortal and corrupt world, at the mercy of the one who did such harm to us humans. But God loves us so much that He didn't want to abandon us and sent us to Emmanuel. Our Savior Jesus Christ is God-with-us. By revealing to us Who God is, He reveals to us who we are. We are created in the "Image" of the One whom we are forbidden to create an image of. This means that we are unlimited and only God can satisfy us. We live in a world where everything is limited, and Christ teaches us to use our limited bodies to bear fruits of eternal life. To name God would be to fit Him into a mental image; that's why I AM is a perfect Name; we cannot fit such a name into an image.
In the Gospel, Christ invites us to continue bearing fruits of Eternal Life. When we leave this world, may death not catch us off guard, distracted by the limitations of this world. Surrendering our unlimited capabilities to the limited and corrupt things of this world would be a great waste. Using my intelligence, my creativity, my time only to earn money and pursue bodily pleasures is truly madness, knowing that I have the opportunity to invest them in the Kingdom of God. I must fill my intelligence with Divine Wisdom, fill my heart with God's plans, and use my words to convey the Word that gives Eternal Life and transform the human beings with whom I interact into Children of God.
