Painting of our current church after being built, circa 1935
News/General Updates
A note from Terri: we are obviously no longer in our 100th year. However, we're keeping this section up for a few reasons. One...how awesome is it that we made it to this milestone?!?!?! Two, it replaces our general history section that we had before (in time it might get retitled and retooled, but here we are). Three and here's the big one. I'm still finding and scanning photos from around the parish or having people come up to me and say "Oooohhhh that's why you were asking for stories and photos?!?!?!? Here. Scan this." Or "This one time this thing happened on the way to my quince and it was the funniest thing ever!!!!"
One hundred years is an amazing milestone indeed, but the reason I did these projects is because the story (stories really) of St. Joseph are an amazing, beautiful thing. There's a reason Monsignor McTague's quote starts off the video.
So if you missed out on contributing to the book or the video...there is an archives blog. Use the form below to share your stories or to contact me about questions about submitting photos. https://sjcarchives.blogspot.com/
